Kiawah is such a wonderful place for a family vacation! We love the close proximity of the beach, places to eat, golf, and great trails for biking and walking. The cottage provided a clean and nice spot to rest and relax as a family.

We’ve never been to Kiawah Island and we’re unsure about what to expect. I’m overly particular about where we stay and I was BEYOND impressed and happy with our stay. The condo itself felt like I was at a Martha Stewart or Joanna Gaines decorated beach house. It was gorgeous. The check-in and check out procedures were so easy. They had starter kits for us for basic supplies. We rented bikes from Alligator Bikes and had a blast riding around the island and in the beach. Y’all aren’t but maybe 1/3 of a mile from the beach. It was absolutely perfect. When you get to the beach Definitely ride bikes to the left of the island - the dolphins strand feed at low tide ... this only happens in two places in the world! We made a lifetime of memories and will MOST definitely be back!

Perfect accommodations for my family of four. So nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. House was clean, and within walking distance to the beach and pool. We had a great experience.

Being off the beach and in the woodlands was a great experience. We enjoyed watching the deer everyday and our bike rides to the beach were easy and enjoyable too.

This is a terrific place to get away for a family with kids who want to have them around and also have some quiet and some privacy. Our condo is perfectly set up so that the entire family can come together around the kitchen and dining areas and yet everyone can get away to the privacy of private rooms. The living area has beautiful views of the woods beyond the condo which adds to the sense of privacy. The condo is free standing and even though their you have neighbors on either side you would never know it. This is an altogether great place for a vacation!

The house was very clean, which is one of the most important things for me. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. If you are taking coolers, chairs, etc.; you might want to think about bringing a cart. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, but no large casserole dishes for making large family size meals. It's about 40 minutes to Charleston. The house is at the end of a street and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a group of over 40 using 8 rentals; my unit was used as one of the main eating spots. It provided enough space and seating for us to comfortably entertain in shifts.

This trip brought back memories of growing up in a large family. Everyone talking at once ,fighting over bathroom space and what to have for dinner.We laughed till we cried,and realized the more we changed the more we have all stayed the same.I cant wait to do it all over again.

Our family was fortunate enough to stay at 1066 Sparrow Poand and the had the best vacation in years. The cottage was well furnished and the one bedroom allowed for cousin sleepovers and well disserved time to bond. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything your need to survive a week in Kiawah. We most definately will reserve this cottage next year and beyond.

This is an extremely comfortable and well decorated cottage. We were pleasantly surprised by the double bed/bunk bed combination in one of the bedrooms. It was perfect for our grandchildren. I liked that there was more than one queen sized bed so that couples don't have to resort to twin beds. The kitchen was very nicely equiped with enough matching dishes to get us through more than just one meal with plates. This impressed me.

This was our first time visiting Kiawah and renting a cottage. With two small children, it was a perfect vacation. The cottage is nicely decorated, and it was very spacious for our family of 4. The walk to the beach is a little long for small children, but the beach is firm enough to roll a stroller easily, which made it more manageable. One note: The bedroom pictured with twin beds now has bunk beds (twin over full with a trundle).
