We had a great stay at 87 Jackstay! Our favorite part was the kitchen and common space on that level. So easy to gather together, but not on top of each other. Overall, it was a great house and was super clean when we arrived!

We have been visiting Kiawah every summer for over 35 years. Our family has grown accordingly and we have
had many different rentals over the years. We rented
this home for the first time last year and just fell
in love with it. And we have already secured it for
next summer as well. It is just a short walk from
the beach, and has a lovely pool is you would like
a little something different some days. The layout
provides privacy and comfort for our three family
units and a large, lovely appointed area for meals
and large gatherings.

The home is always and very clean and well maintained. We had a small issue with a dishwasher
and the rental staff were polite and immediately
helpful as were the maintenance staff who responded.
We spend most of our tine at the house but Freshfields provides a wide variety of shops nearby
for souvenirs and rainy day shopping. We look
forward to enjoying this property again in 2023!

We have been coming to Kiawah for years but this was our first multi generation vacation and this house was perfect. It was clean, spacious, nicely furnished and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Kids loved the pool and the entrance to the beach boardwalk was in the side yard so the beach was steps away. A great time was had by all! Would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The location is fantastic with the beach access path being about as close as you can possibly get - literally steps from the driveway. Loved coming back to the shaded backyard and pool after hours in the sun on the beach. Layout of the house is great with the 3-levels and 3 master bedrooms. Management company was very responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. This was our first time on Kiawah and it exceeded all expectations. We will definitely be back and won't hesitate to book this property again if it's available.

Loved this house and what it offered! Accommodated our 11 member family extremely well. Kitchen was large and extremely well outfitted with 2 dishwashers, refrigerators and ovens. Loved the 3 master bedroom setup and plenty of bathrooms. Great location to the beach and the pool made it all the better after a day at the beach! Only thing missing was a broom. We searched everywhere but couldn’t find one.

House was super clean when we arrived. Being on the beach boardwalk is this house's best feature. Lots of space and a well-stocked, huge kitchen is perfect for my family of 8. Owners seem to have made this place really inviting. Mgmnt company solved a key box problem super fast too - Thank you - we will be back in June. :)

Overall great stay. You can be on the sand in just a couple of minutes so you can't beat the location. The layout of the house worked for us as well - three bedrooms on bottom floor help you put kids to bed if you're hanging out upstairs. We had one maintenance issue that was fixed same day. Unlike some rental houses the living room furniture is very comfortable and roomy. Super minor complaints (and I kind of feel embarrassed for even mentioning): the toaster was broken and it would be nice to have a fridge that gave filtered water. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife, two daughters and sons in law as well as the four grandchildren enjoyed a great week at Kiawah and i7 Jackstay. With the oldest grandchild being 3 1/2 and the youngest at 7 months we needed plenty of room and proper “eat in” accommodations and easy beach access. 87 Jackstay was perfect and it was the vehicle for many great memories.

We were three families. Six adults and three children (ages 9 to 10).
The property was exactly as described. Couldn't have been closer to the beach without being on the beach. The huge kitchen was a wonder. Every imaginable pot, pan, tray ,bowl, and kitchen utensil was there in abundance. Two large dining areas. Multiple sets of plates, cups, glasses, silverware etc. were on hand in easy access drawers and cupboards.
The house was very well maintained and very clean.
Good AC, a necessity! WiFi through out, large TVs in every room it seemed.
The baths and showers were great, plenty of hot water.
The linens and towels were fresh and abundant. Plenty of comfortable couches and chairs in the several living rooms.
The kids really made use of the pool, in and out hundreds of times. They liked the ocean but really loved the pool. In our view, the pool was the best feature of this outstanding property.

We would definitely recommend this property to our friends.

Have stayed here many times; exceptional location, very short walk to beach. Best feature for us was huge kitchen, two dishwashers, well equipped and fully open to great room. My husband loves to cook and never missed out on any of the family fun. Pool perfect spot to cool off. Room for lots of fun!

We have been coming to Kiawah since 1981. As our family grew, our housing options changed. We started in Duneside, before East Beach was a thing! Tried Atlantic Beach and the Enclave, which we loved but outgrew. Our grown children suggested a pool and that's where we found ourselves the last few years. Our family ranges from 66 yo to 15 months and a home close to the beach with a pool serves everybody's needs. Kiawah is our happy place. One of our daughters got married at the Sanctuary. She had decided that was the place when she was 14. Years before our kids got married, they brought their boyfriends and they loved it. Every year we all clear our schedules to get together. WE rent bikes, bring paddle boards and hang out on the beach. Beach walks at dusk are magical.The beach is never crowded. Last year,our oldest daughter, who has been coming for 36 yrs, spent 2 weeks at Kiawah as she recovered from breast cancer. She refers to Kiawah as a healing place. We now have 3 grandkids, who love Kiawah as we do. Kiawah is the ultimate spot for a multigenerational vacation. You can be alone together. It is a peaceful place.

Everyone enjoyed their stay at 87 Jackstay. The house is perfect for large family get togethers.
The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. They have
everything you need and more. Being so close to the beach is such a plus when you have a large group of people who like to go their own way. I would definitely like to come back to this home again.

We had a great stay at this fabulous house. It is perfect for the 9 of us. Location is easy access to the beach. The pool is nice to have on those days when the wind is blowing strong on the beach. The kitchen is a dream and makes cooking for 9 an enjoyable task. We look forward to coming back next year. This was our third time renting this house. Hope the construction in front of and behind us is over by next year.. A little noisy at times but still enjoyable.

We had a fabulous family reunion at Kiawah. This was our fifteenth trip to Kiawah and by far our most luxurious accommodations. We especially loved the three master suites for grown children and a grandchild. The pool was icing on the cake. We will return for sure!!

A wonderful home for our family of 15 to gather, along with the house next door 87 Jackstay. Very well equipped in all respects, close to Ocean/Beach, bedrooms located ideally for our couples. Everyone in the group thought it the best we have had on Kiawah. The owners choice of décor, materials, etc. were ideal for renters. Enjoyed the screened in porch every evening. Kitchen just great for preparing meals and very adequate seating. A bath for each bedroom is just great, so many are lacking. Would recommend to anyone for their visit to the Island.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a stunning home. The pictures do not do it justice. The Kitchen is literally a "dream kitchen" that leaves you wanting for nothing. The Bathrooms associated with the Larger bedrooms are amazing, especially the one on the second floor off the kitchen. It has a rain shower head, body jets, and a traditional shower head. The home is located in a beautiful section, far enough to be secluded, but close enough to make easy runs out to stores etc. Pool was heated at an extra cost, but worth it. More like a very large hot tub. There are a lot of stairs to navigate everyday, but the dumbwaiter helped immensely with the groceries. Would stay again and again.

My family and I had a very good experience and enjoyed every aspect of being on Kiawah Island. A unique setting and we look forward to one next visit. The only negative is the lack of a gym that renters can pay to use. To have such a great product and unable to exercise is a big disappointment. We have never stayed at a high end resort where work out facilities were not available!

This was the perfect home and location for our vacation/birthday celebration with our children, grandchildren and close family members. A short walk and we were on the beautiful Kiawah beach; the pool outside provided many hours of enjoyment for our young grandchildren. The bike paths were convenient to all and the golfers enjoyed the Ocean Course with its many challenges! The home is beautifully decorated and provided more than ample space for all adults and children. We would highly recommend this property and Pam Harrington Exclusives.
